This is a super easy barbecue recipe that’s sure to be a hit with everyone in your family. And it’s ready in minutes!
Ingredients
- Ready-made flammkuchen dough
- 1 bunch of green asparagus
- 1 red onion
- 200 grams cream cheese
- A piece of strong cheese
- 100 grams bacon bits
- Slices of cooked ham
- Not Just BBQ Holy Smoke Rub from the BBQ rubs smoky gift set

- Olive oil
Equipment
- A barbecue for indirect grilling
- Coals, firelighters, etc. for lighting the barbecue
- A cutting board
- A knife Tongs
- 3 small bowls and 1 large bowl of water
- A brush
Easy recipe for a Holy Smoke flammkuchen

1. Let your cast iron dish heat up on the grill while the coals heat up.
2. Cut the end of the asparagus and soak them in cold water. This will prevent burning them on the grill.
3. Cut the onion into thin rings and the ham into coarse pieces.
4. Lightly brown the bacon in the hot dish and remove from the grill.
5. Place the pizza stone on the grill so that it can come up to temperature.
6. Meanwhile, mix the cream cheese with Not Just BBQ Holy Smoke Rub, this gives a nice sweet and spicy twist. Not too much because there is already salt in the rub.
7. Cut the asparagus lengthwise.
8. Roll out the dough and spread with cream cheese and top generously with the remaining ingredients.
9. Top it off with grated cheese.
10. Place the filled Flammkuchen on the hot pizza stone and bake with the lid closed for a maximum of 10 minutes until golden brown.
