Bavette is een favoriet mals vlees voor iedere barbecuer en een aanrader omdat het snel klaar is (kan jij lekker Tour de France op TV kijken). Het smelt op je tong, heeft een fijne textuur en past perfect bij kruiden en vullingen, en is gemakkelijk te bereiden op de barbecue. Tijdens onze filmopnames maakten onze twee gastbarbecues deze gevulde bavette met spinazie, Parmaham en pijnboompitjes boven op onze Landrover (wat tof).
